Lately I've been reflecting on how blessed and privileged I feel to be a Mom to these two little ones. Seriously, when I'm with them I feel like the nerd who's trying to crash the cool kids' party and I am blown away by the fact that the Lord has chosen me to be their Mom. The Lord has been so kind and gracious to me, to have two little ones that are very close in age and to have it be so fun and enjoyable. Of course we have our crazy moments but those are the times when I just have to laugh and appreciate it as all part of the package. Currently, I am seeing the fruit of discipline producing obedience in Jet (even at such a young age!) and with Roxy, the novelty of hearing her begin to laugh and talk is a joy that will never wear off.
So, so, so thankful for my son and daughter and praising my sweet Father in Heaven for the precious gift of their lives.
The cool kids:)
I mean, look, Roxy's even got the "I'm too cool" face down.
Could you just die from the sweetness?
Jet, a.k.a. "Linus."
He has been totally digging this little blankie and will carry it around most of the day.

Jet loves to rip paper so we are working on teaching him how to "take care" of it by looking at it nicely and not tearing it apart. But today, besides crumpling it up a little, he did a very good job and resisted the temptation to rip it!
